Nia – commenced activities in the 60’s as a metal products manufacturer and over the years has become the furniture and design division of the Peleg Nia Group with an annual turnover of 100 million shekels (2006).

During the course of the division’s 40 years of activity it has established itself as a leader in the country for the supply of services and the provision of comprehensive solutions for a wide range of customers from the private sector through nationwide chain stores and the institutional sector through the provision of office solutions, public furnishings and interior furniture systems and special projects. At the beginning of the millennium another central field of activity was added – that of shop fittings, through the merger with the Gotwein Company activities as representative of Umdasch Shop Fitting Group, a world leader in the field of store furnishings and design.


Over the past few years the division has perform extensive projects covering some 550,000 square meters that included, among others, store solutions (300,000 sqm), offices (100,000 sqm) and public areas (150,000 sqm).
The services offered by the division combine a wide variety of possibilities ranging from consultation on furnishing solutions, unique designs (in cooperation with leading architects and product designers in providing customers with solutions), engineering design, measuring, project management, production, assembly and installation of furnishing for various areas of activity.

The division together with the company’s logistics array performs these services nationwide taking special care to maintain quality and adhere to customer schedules. These combinations allow the division to provide its customers with comprehensive services that answer to all their needs as chief contractors for various size projects.


In its furnishing solutions the division integrates materials (metal, wood, glass, plastic, upholstery) using various technologies (casting, extrusion, laser cutting, electro-static and wet painting). Most of production is owned and operated by the division and some is through cooperation with specialized companies (lighting, wood), sub-contractors (electricity, construction, product designers) and the import of supplementary products
